Police Officer Sues Over Whitney Houston Death Scene

A police officer in Los Angeles has sued the city of Los Angeles for his treatment following his allegations that another police officer showed inappropriate conduct at the scene of Whitney Houston's death.

In paperwork filed for the lawsuit, Sergeant Brian Weir noted that he covered Houston's body when he was called to the scene of her death at the Beverly Hills Hilton. He noted, however, that then-Detective Sergeant (now Lieutenant) Terry Nutall removed the sheet from Houston and said she "looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state" while standing in close proximity to her body and nearly touching her.

Weir, who complained to his superiors about the incident, alleges he was removed from his positions in the SWAT team and K-9 units, harassed and ostracized, and denied promotions for having reported the behavior.

He is suing for unspecified damages.

Houston died on February 11, 2012.
