Bruce Springsteen Plays 'Stayin' Alive' In Australia

During a show in Brisbane, Australia on Wednesday, February 26, Bruce Springsteen pulled out a cover of the Bee Gees's classic disco tune, "Stayin Alive." Fan shot video of the performance is currently circulating the web.

According to, the Boss later asked the audience whether they preferred him to play requests held up by fans with signs or an album in its entirety.

The fans chose the latter and Bruce then played The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle - marking only the second occasion he's done so.

Springsteen has been covering songs by Australian artists throughout the tour, with a cover AC/DC's classic "Highway to Hell" coming in Melbourne earlier this month. The group was joined by Pearl Jam fronter Eddie Vedder for the performance.
