Beyoncé Offers Up Track For Philippines Relief

Beyoncé is just one of many acts to offer up a track for Philippines relief. The country was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan earlier this month, prompting a host of artists to pitch in for fundraising efforts.

Lady Bey donated her cut "I Was Here" to the compilation, which is entitled Songs for the Philippines. 39 songs are featured on the comp in total.

The LP, available only via iTunes, retails for $9.99, and is for purchase only as an entire set. The musicians, labels and publishers have agreed to donate proceeds from the album's sale to the Philippine Red Cross.

Typhoon Haiyan tore through the country on Nov. 8, leaving over 4,000 dead and 4.4 million displaced, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
