Martina McBride Honored By Nashville Association Of Talent Directors

The Nashville Association of Talent Directors has honored Martina McBride for her career achievements. During a special ceremony at the Hermitage Hotel in the Music City on Tuesday, McBride's 18-million-selling career was commemorated.

NATD President Stephen Tolman said: "As we celebrated the NATD honorees and our scholarship recipient, the unexpected thing happened and moved people - putting smiles on faces and bringing tears to our eyes."

Also honored at the event, which was hosted by GAC and SiriusXM host Storme Warren and WKRN personality Stephanie Langston, was Maria Morari. Morari is a blind orphan from Moldova who had her vision restored by Dr. Ming Wang. The NATD donated $20,000 to her.

McBride's "Joy of Christmas" tour launches on November 29 in Huntington, West Virginia.
