Bon Jovi Cancel Show At New York State Fair

Bon Jovi has pulled out of their scheduled performance at the New York State Fair. The Jersey rockers were set to hit the stage on August 28 but have reportedly pulled the plug because of a scheduling conflict.

The band is currently scheduled to play a private fundraiser for New York's governor Andrew Cuomo three days before.

Sources close to the band tell Ultimate Classic Rock that playing both gigs could send strange messages to New York residents, implying that BJ got the fair contract because of political ties.

The insider claims that Bon Jovi has voided their lucrative fair performance contract "to avoid anyone seeing a conflict in . . . playing a private show for the governor and then three days later being paid $650,000 to perform at the fair."
