Keith Richards Jams With Eric Clapton At Crossroads Fest

Eric Clapton welcomed Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards to the stage for a performance at his recent Crossroads Music Festival in New York City. The event at Madison Square Garden also brought together other legendary guitar slingers including Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy.

Richards' appearance was unannounced, and he surprised fans by stepping on stage and saying, "Now we're gonna rock it up."

He and Clapton then ripped into a cover of the classic "Sweet Little Rock N' Roller."

Former Band fronter Robbie Robertson also appeared at the event for a performance of the Bob Dylan classic "I Shall Be Released." He said:

"I just want to say it's an honor to be here in honor of Crossroads and Eric Clapton."
