Kelly Clarkson To Perform At ACM Awards

Kelly Clarkson has been confirmed as a performer for the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, set to air from Las Vegas, April 7 on CBS. Blake Shelton returns for the third straight year to serve as the show's co-host alongside Luke Bryan.

Clarkson is nominated for Vocal Event of the Year for the song "Don't Rush" with Vince Gill, her third nomination in that category.

Last year, she took home two ACM Awards, including Vocal Event of the Year and Single Record of the Year for "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Jason Aldean.

In addition to Clarkson, the 2013 ACM Awards will feature a host of country's biggest names, including Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and the Band Perry.
