Aerosmith's Steven Tyler And Joe Perry To Be Inducted Into Songwriters HOF

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith have been named among the latest inductees to the Songwriters Hall of Fame and will be honored at the 44th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner on June 13 at the Marriott Marquis in New York.

"Each of our 2013 inductees has been responsible for captivating the world with their creativity for decades, serving up a rich variety of songs for our global soundtrack," said legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb, who also serves as Chairman of the Hall of Fame.

"We are looking forward to celebrating their contributions at our Annual Awards Gala."

Others announced for the event include Mick Jones and Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Holly Knight (whose credits include "Love Is a Battlefield" for Pat Benatar, and "The Best" for Tina Turner), JD Souther ("Heartache Tonight" for the Eagles) and Tony Hatch.
