Paul McCartney Wins Grammy For Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album

Paul McCartney took home the Grammy award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for his 2012 release of jazz standards, Kisses on the Bottom. The latest win is the 16th in Macca's illustrious career.

In the Traditional Pop Vocal Album category, McCartney beat out stiff competition from Carole King (A Holiday Carole) and Michael Buble (Christmas).

Sir Paul was also up in the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package category for his Ram re-issue, but lost to Woody at 100: the Woody Guthrie Centennial Collection.

Ram was also bested by his old rivals the Beach Boys in the Best Historical Album category, with Brian Wilson and company taking the honor for their The Smile Sessions Deluxe Box Set.
