Paul McCartney And Steve Winwood To Appear On Eric Clapton's Old Sock

Eric Clapton's 21st studio album, Old Sock, will feature special guests Paul McCartney and Steve Winwood among others. The disc, available March 12, is Slowhand's first since his 2010 effort, Clapton.

Macca plays bass and sings on a track called "All of Me." Winwood, Clapton's old Blind Faith bandmate, backs him on organ for "Still Got the Blues."

Other artists featured on the disc are JJ Cale, who plays guitar and sings background vocals on "Angel," while soul legend Chaka Khan joins on "Get on Over."

Old Sock will be released on Clapton's own Bushbranch Records label. It contains ten covers and two originals, "Every Little" and "Gotta Get Over."

Following the release of the new LP, Clapton hits the road for a U.S. arena tour in the spring.
