Dennis DeYoung Re-Staging Styx' 'Paradise Theatre' Tour For A DVD Release

The former Styx frontman Dennis DeYoung is attempting to re-create the group's most successful tour, Paradise Theatre, for an upcoming DVD release.

Even though DeYoung has been separated from the band since 1999, he still makes a living off of playing the band's hit songs in his new solo band.

"I've toyed with the idea of recreating the Paradise Theater tour one more time, janitor, back drops, simulated marquee and all but I'll have to get permission from the United Tour Association of That Again," DeYoung said. "Possible tour names are Paradise Now and Forever, Return to the Return of the Return of Paradise or simply Tonights The Night We'll Repeat History."

Former Styx bandmates have also had some success re-creating some of their old hits back in 2010; performing "The Grand Illusion" and "Pieces of Eight."
