Bee Gees' Childhood Home Damaged In Fire

The home in which the Gibb brothers-Robin, Barry and Maurice-grew up has gone up in smoke. The house, located on Tramore Street in Brisbane, Australia, was no longer occupied by members of the Bee Gees clan.

The family that did live there escaped without injury, according to TheAustralian.com.

A former neighbor of the boys, speaking with a local television station, said that they came back for a nostalgic visit a decade ago:

"About 10 years ago they came back in their stretch limousines when they were visiting Australia they parked opposite our house and they got out of the car and they ran back and they had a look at their old home then they got back in the cars and drove away."

Robin died earlier this year, while Maurice passed in 2003.
