Shania Twain Has Lionel Richie And Michael Buble To Thank For Comeback

Shania Twain credits Lionel Richie and Michael Buble with helping her restart her career, which is soon to take back off with her upcoming two year Las Vegas residency, Shania: Still the One.

The country superstar has been battling a vocal disorder called dysphonia since 2002, but when both Buble and Richie invited her to perform on separate projects, she found she could overcome the obstacle.

"When I went through the process in the studio with Lionel Richie, and the Christmas duet with Michael Bublé -- and those being more out of my range than I would normally sing anyway -- they came out great," Shania tells Vegas magazine.

"I was so happy with them, and I thought, OK, well if I can do that, then I can do anything."

Twain duetted on Richie's Tuskegee track "Endless Love," and on "White Christmas" for Buble's 2011 project Christmas.
