Mariah Carey Sings X-Mas Carol With Jimmy Fallon

Mariah Carey stopped by the Jimmy Fallon's late night show on Wednesday to sing a special version of her hit "All I Want for Christmas is You."

The pop diva was backed by Fallon, The Roots, and some elementary school instruments.

"Join the fun + sing along to my festive 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' collabo with @jimmyfallon & @theroots!!!" Carey wrote on Twitter.

Fallon played the wood block, tambourine, bass drum and kazoo, while Questlove accompanied on a wooden clacker played with an afro pick. Other unorthodox instruments included a Fisher Price xylophone, recorder, melodica, ukulele, bongos and sleigh bells.

Carey is the latest artist on Fallon's show to perform one of their hits in a unique fashion. Last month, Christina Aguilera sang her single, "Your Body," backed by Fallon and The Roots using office supplies as instruments.

After Christmas is over, Carey is set to join the judges of Fox's American Idol this January.
