Maroon 5's Adam Levine Offers To Drum For Pearl Jam

If Pearl Jam is in need of someone to play drums while normal drummer Matt Cameron is off playing with Soundgarden, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine says he is available.

"If Pearl Jam needs a temp drummer while [Matt] Cameron tours with Soundgarden, I've been practicing to your records since I was 11. I'm READY," Levine tweeted. "1. I'm dead serious. 2. I'm DEAD serious."

While it's yet to be seen if Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam will take Levine up on his offer, Soundgarden are set to hit the road this January with a North American tour of clubs and mid-sized venues. That trek is scheduled to kick off on January 18 at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., and continue through February 16 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
