Mariah Carey Warms Up For 'Christmas In Rockefeller Center' Special

Mariah Carey warmed up to ring in the holiday season with rehearsals for NBC's "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" special on Tuesday (November 27). The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" star will appear alongside Santa Claus at the event, which sees New York City's most famous Christmas tree lighted.

The special airs November 28 at 9 p.m. This year's tree is an 80-foot Norway Spruce, hailing from a town in New Jersey that was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. It was installed earlier this month at the site and is currently being decorated with 30,000 colored lights for the holiday season.

Mariah joins an all-star crew of performers set to take the stage at the event, including Trace Adkins, CeeLo Green, Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Rod Stewart and Il Volo. Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie will host the event, which also boasts appearances by Billy Crystal and Bette Midler.
