Journey Postpones Five Concerts

Journey has postponed five concerts after singer Arnel Pineda was diagnosed with severe laryngeal and esophageal inflammation.

The first of the five postponed shows was in Evansville, Indiana. The venue broke the news, stating that Pineda is under doctor's orders not to perform for the next week. The postponements have also been explained on the band's official website.

The concerts are expected to be rescheduled for January or February 2013. In addition to Evansville, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Moline, Illinois and Sioux City, Iowa have all been pushed back.

Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo and Loverboy are also on the bill for all five shows, as they have been for the entire tour. The current shuffling marks the second time in 10 days the groups have had to rearrange their schedules.
