Alicia Keys Releases 'Unlock Yourself'

Alicia Keys has dropped "Unlock Yourself," the theme song from her new iPhone/iPad app, The Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee. The music video features stop motion animation along with an inspirational message for children.

"Unlock Yourself" will get an official release as a bonus cut from Keys' upcoming album Girl on Fire (due November 27). For the app, Keys has another track planned, "Follow the Moon," which will not see a release elsewhere.

The Journals of Mama and LeeLee tells the story of a grandmother, Mama Mae (based on Keys' own), and her granddaughter, LeeLee (based on Keys). The interactive story allows users to write in a journal, play piano or draw.

"It's about a daughter and her grandmother. It's something that a mother and child can experience together, siblings can experience together, something that a grandmother and a grandchild can experience together," Keys previously said of the game.

The interactive app is available at the Apple App Store for $3.99.
