Lady Gaga Wears Iconic Versace Safety Pin Dress
For the first time since 1994, the iconic Gianni Versace safety-pin dress has been worn, but this time it was worn by Lady Gaga.
Gaga wore the dress to Milan on Tuesday, October 2 where she met with Donatella Versace.
The dress instantly caught the eye of everyone who saw Gaga; Hal Rubenstein counts it as his favorite dress of all time, and He has described it in his book 100 Unforgettable Dresses as "devilishly engineered," with a "ravine-deep neckline, thigh-high slit, double-fastened straps, and open rib cage, secured by a half dozen pronged Medusas."
The dress was originally worn by Elizabeth Hurley and Versace denied that she had a fitting for the dress, that he just "knew [she] would look simply "bellissima, perfetto."
