Drug Free and Safe Schools October is Red Ribbon Month and the State of Office of Education has scheduled many events throughout the state to support Utah parents as they teach their children to stay away from drugs and alcohol. As part of the effort they are giving out 40,000 copies of Mind Over Matters Family Guidebooks with tips on how to talk to children about substance abuse and peer pressure. The guidebooks are being distributed through 4th grade teachers. They include music produced by Something Good, Inc's CEO and entertainer Steve James. Each song reinforces the message of the Mind Over Matters drug free campaign.
