Rebecca Cressman fell in love with radio the very first time she dropped a needle on those shiny black discs that people used to call "records." Since her first job as a D.J. back east she's produced, anchored, and hosted multiple award-winning commercial and public radio and television shows across the U.S. and throughout the Wasatch Front. Rebecca and her husband, Dale, are raising 3 sons who share her passion for music, sports, and, outdoor fun and long trips to the beaches of her hometown, San Diego, CA. Rebecca also hosts the Bonneville Radio public affairs interview program "Utah Weekly Forum." And if you're flipping the channel, you can catch her Emmy-Nominated television series "Living Essentials" with helpful ideas on life, health, and family. Her favorite artists are Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz, Sheryl Crow and (Earth, Wind, and Fire) and her favorite food is anything spicy...Thai, Mexican...it's all good.

While doing research for her book, Sylvia Ann Hewlett, economist and founding president of the Center for Work-Life Policy, made a compelling discovery: evidence suggests that high-powered women are more than twice as likely to consider leaving their jobs as men during weak economic times. Why does it matter? In a post for the Harvard Business Review, Hewlett cites studies which indicate "that companies with significant numbers of women in management have a much higher return on investment," and show better resistance to the financial crisis.

"Avatar" and "The Hurt Locker" narrowly led the Oscar nominees, with nine nominations each, including best picture and best director, as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences scattered its honors among an unusually wide field of contenders on Tuesday. "Up in the Air" also had a strong showing with six nominations, including best picture, best director for Jason Reitman, best adapted script, best actor for George Clooney and two supporting actress nominations, for Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick. One surprise was a best picture nomination for "The Blind Side," a popular drama about a white woman who helps a homeless young black man become a football star. Sandra Bullock was nominated as best actress for her role in the film, which had not been widely seen as a best picture prospect as the awards season took shape. Other best picture nominees in a field that was doubled to 10 from five this year were "District 9," "An Education," "A Serious Man," and "Up."

It's a new year! For many women, that means it's time to lose a few pounds, start an exercise plan, etc..etc. But the authors of the new book Live a Little! Breaking the Rules Won't Break Your Health say give yourself a little slack, a brownie once in awhile and a day off from exercising without guilt. They say, there's a "middle ground" that most health-conscious women already walk upon or can reasonably achieve. How can you tell if you're living a healthy balanced life? They say that a "pretty healthy woman":
•Gets enough sleep to feel alert most days, without worrying about whether that's six, seven or eight hours (and knows that no research shows long-term harm from the kind of sleep deprivation common among new parents).

•Lives a large enough life to inflict some stress on herself and sometimes overdoes it — but has the resources to recover. (Lives that are not full enough are an overlooked problem in a popular culture focused on crazed multitaskers, Domar says.)

•Eats plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean protein, whole grains and healthy fats, but doesn't worry about exact proportions, occasional indulgences or the latest "superfood."

•Is physically active and fit enough to walk a 20-minute mile and lift the things she needs to lift — and is probably working harder to stay fit as she ages.

It's the busiest day at the USPS, but you still have time to mail your gifts.
Here are the Holiday shipping cut-off dates (domestic):
* Dec. 16 - Parcel Post
* Dec. 21 - First-Class Mail
* Dec. 21 - Priority Mail
* Dec. 23 - Express Mail
Source: USPS
One way customers can save time during the holiday shipping rush is by using Automated Postal Centers(APCs). Just as an ATM is a virtual bank, the APC is a virtual, stand-alone Post Office. The APC does everything short of face-to-face transactions ¯ dispensing stamps, weighing packages and calculating postage for Express Mail, Priority Mail, First-Class Mail and Parcel Post items. Customers can also skip the trip to the Post Office completely and ship online using the Postal Service's website, usps.com. Customers can print shipping labels, pay for postage and order free shipping supplies, including the popular Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes, virtually eliminating the need to weigh. Customers can also request free package pickup online at usps.com. The Postal Service will pick up packages during regular mail delivery the next business day - and, unlike with other shipping companies, there is no fee for this service.

What do you do now to get ready for Thanksgiving? What do you do next week? Better Homes and Gardens put together a countdown to help us get ready for Thanksgiving Day and Dinner. Here's what we should be doing this weekend:

-Invite your guests. If the gathering is shared, keep track of who is bringing what on your menu.
-Determine any special food needs for your guests and plan accordingly.
-Make shopping list of perishables and nonperishables. Don't forget to include film, batteries, and beverages.
-If you are ordering a fresh turkey, do it now.
Make a Thanksgiving to-do list, listing all the little things you feel must get done prior to Thanksgiving. Be sure to schedule time for each chore and indicate who will take care of that chore.
-Decide which china, glassware, and table linens you'll use.
-If tablecloths and napkins need to be cleaned or ironed, do it now.
-Once table settings have been decided, order a floral centerpiece or make plans to create your own.

Hand Sanitizers and The Risk to Children
We're all trying to keep our hands clean to prevent the spread of flu, but the Utah Poison Control Center says we need to be careful not to leave the little bottles of hand sanitizers within the reach of babies, toddlers, or older children. Hand sanitizers contain more Ethyl Alcohol than hard liquors, anywhere from 62 to 64 percent. That's equivalent to 120 proof. So, small children that swallow the sanitizers can get intoxicated at risk to their health. Here are some recommendations from the Utah Poison Control Center:

Keep hand sanitizer gel and other ethanol containing products (mouthwash, perfumes, body splashes, hairspray) out of reach of small children.

Supervise the use of hand sanitizer gel.

Older children may attempt to abuse products containing ethanol like hand sanitizer gels.

Call the Utah Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 if you have any concerns.

Parents have been told over and over not to let kids watch TV alone. But now a new study shows that advice can backfire: Researchers found that children who watched television with their folks were almost four times as likely to be frightened by scary programs as those who viewed alone.
The researchers suggest that well-intentioned parents might be inadvertently turning up the volume on fear. That can happen simply because children are watching their parents' reactions.

"People didn't realize that he actually transformed into the car. And so once they see that, it's ... it's two costumes in one, I guess." Preston Dean said. The family's video of Conner on YouTube (see below) is gaining fans. He's also excited to show it off to his Kindergarten class.

Halloween Costume Reveals Personality
Dr. Elayne Kahn wrote a book called 1001 Ways You Reveal Your Personality. She says what kind of costume you choose, reveals alot about your personality. Here's a few of her ideas:

* Witches -- Enchanting people, take control in romantic situations. Always honest about there feelings.

* Politicians -- Suspicious of authority. Judge people by there actions, not by their words. Opinionated.

* Movie Stars -- Concerned about reputation, success. Enjoy being the center of attention. Socially active.

* Clowns -- Sensitive to others emotions, self-assured, can laugh at themselves.

* Aliens -- Often have a hard time understanding people's intentions.

* Monsters -- Appear calm, but they're hiding internal turmoil. Have difficulty expressing themselves.

* No Costume -- You're afraid of criticism. Uptight, you have a hard time letting go. Underneath it all, you have an intense need to be accepted.

AOL came out with a list of inappropriate Halloween costumes for teen girls this week. The list includes costumes that reveal much more than a fun idea or creative imagination. Blogger Mom Eliza Faree from Blisstree.com added her thoughts on AOL's Top five and found five more costumes she says you may want to keep out of your teen's dress up drawer this year.
AOL's Top Choices:
1. Mary Had a Little Lamb- Girl in what looks like a maid outfit that cuts to above her knees. She wears a bonnet and holds a lamb and a staff in the other hand.
2. Alice in Wonderland- This one once again looks like a french maid outfit only it is blue with the white trim. The girl wears a big black bow at the top of her head, white tights and black heels.
3. Cheshire Cat- This has a girl wearing fluffy boots (hairy) that are pink, a pink skirt that cuts once again way above the knee, arm warmers, a pink top, ears and a mouth mask for the cat. I must say it isn't as bad as some of these others but it does remind me of a little girl wearing pajamas.
4. Fallen Angel- This would be the perfect gothic look, but not on a 12 year old or younger. This one has the beaten black wings, criss cross stockings, black halo, large black boots and once again the maid outfit but with shredded black on top. The look is topped off with black lipstick, eyeshadow, etc and a choker.
5. Punk Rock Fairy- Pink dress with a black lace up the front, black leather boots that go almost up to the knees, black wings and black and white stripped arm warmers. This at least goes past her knees.

The recommendations say schools should:
•Increase the amount of vegetables to ¾ cup a day at lunch for kindergarten through eighth grade and one cup a day for grades 9 through 12.
•Increase to at least ½ cup of these every week: green leafy vegetables, orange vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, summer squash) and beans.
•Decrease the amount of starchy veggies such as potatoes.
•Offer more fruit at breakfast.
•Make sure at least half or more of grains and breads are whole-grain.

I took my teen sons to see Where the Wild Things Area nd we loved it, but most of my friends agreed that the movie is too dark for young children. I'd be okay taking a child who is seven or eight years old, but the website "Common Sense Media" is recommending it for children 9 years old and up. Here's what they say:

"Parents need to know that director Spike Jonze's adaptation of Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are isn't appropriate for younger kids, even those who adore the book (there's a big difference between looking at a beautifully illustrated children's story and watching a live-action movie full of sights and sounds that will probably scare the average 4-year-old). The movie explores mature themes of loneliness, insecurity, and fear of change, both within Max's human family and the one he finds on his adventure. The island that Max lands on can be a scary and dark place, and the Wild Things themselves aren't above threatening (repeatedly) to eat Max, as well as becoming hot-headed and destructive (and when a Wild Thing gets destructive, it can be quite intense)."
The website also gives parents ideas on how and what to talk about with your kids so they can understand Max's fears, anger, and return home. Click on the More link and check out their recommendations here.

The father of a 6-year-old boy who was thought to be in a helium balloon that floated away said Friday accusations that the ordeal was a publicity stunt are "extremely pathetic." The sheriff said he will be asking more questions. Richard Heene and his family made the rounds on all three television networks on Friday, and the boy at the center of the saga got sick twice when he and his father were asked during separate interviews what he meant when he said that "we did this for a show."

It happened earlier this morning and his family is praying he'll be okay. A little 6 year old boy was working on a hot-air helium balloon with his family outside their Fort Collins Colorado home when he climbed inside the hatch. The silver balloon became untethered and took off floating thousands of feet in the air for almost 2 hours while TV stations and officials tried to chase the balloon down. When it landed 20 miles north of Denver, paramedics couldn't find the boy inside the craft. Now...officials are concerned about what could have happened and the search for the boy continues.

It's our 21st Wedding Anniversary...and you can see from our engagement photo it was definitely the '80s when we got hitched! Lucky for me, I'm married to a man who never forgets a date. But,if your spouse has a tendency to forget your anniversary, remind him or her a week or so ahead. Why go through another day of being upset that he or she didn't remember?
Here's some fun ideas to keep the special date in mind:
-Put an ad in the paper. Maybe not a real ad, but take a piece of paper and write, "Joe and Elizabeth are celebrating their 7th anniversary next Saturday, April 22." Put the paper in your spouse's favorite section of the paper and make sure he or she sees it.
-Send an ecard to your spouse. Include a funny story about your wedding and add, "I can't wait to relive our wedding night on our anniversary Thursday."

So, you know, it is what it is, but Americans are totally annoyed by the use of "whatever" in conversations. The popular slacker term of indifference was found "most annoying in conversation" by 47 percent of Americans surveyed in a Marist College poll released Wednesday. "Whatever" easily beat out "you know," which especially grated a quarter of respondents. The other annoying contenders were "anyway" (at 7 percent), "it is what it is" (11 percent) and "at the end of the day" (2 percent). "Whatever" — pronounced "WHAT'-ehv-errr" when exasperated — is an expression with staying power. Immortalized in song by Nirvana ("oh well, whatever, nevermind") in 1991, popularized by the Valley girls in "Clueless" later that decade, it is still commonly used, often by younger people. It can be an all-purpose argument-ender or a signal of apathy. And it can really be annoying. The poll found "whatever" to be consistently disliked by Americans regardless of their race, gender, age, income or where they live.

One, two, buckle my shoe. Better make that one, two, shots for the flu.The National Institutes of Health says that while most Americans will need a single dose of vaccine to protect against the 2009 H1N1 influenza, more commonly known as swine flu, little kids won't be as lucky. Dr. ANTHONY FAUCI, a top NIH official, says that youngsters under ten will have to receive two doses about 21 days apart because their immune reaction isn't as substantial in response to the single shot as is that of older children and adults. In nearly all cases, protection from swine flu is evident between eight and ten days of one shot administered to everyone over ten. Fauci stressed that parents shouldn't be too concerned because children who are immunized for the first time for regular seasonal flu have to get two vaccinations. That still means, of course, that the very young will likely have to get four shots to cover both the winter flu and swine flu.

Jennifer Aniston's next film might not see the light of day. Two screenwriters claim NBC Universal stole their script for "Love Happens," Aniston's upcoming film with Aaron Eckhart. Greg Crowder and Tony Freitas filed a suit against the film production company on Tuesday, alleging that they gave their script, titled "The Truth," to former Universal VP of Productions Scott Bernstein in 2006. Crowder claims he had meetings with Bernstein about the script, but the VP told him that it needed a rewrite before Universal would buy it. The scribe insisted that he would only rewrite their work if the company paid them, but since Universal wasn't willing to pay, the deal fell apart, TMZ reports. The writer then submitted the script to another company, who told him they were concerned that he might have stolen the story from another existing project, Aniston and Eckhart's "Love Happens." Crowder and Freitas are asking a judge to block Universal from releasing the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on September 18. And if it gets released, they want share of the profit, which they estimate at over $100 million.

Simply worrying about losing your job can cost you your health, a new investigation of data from two long-term studies finds. Surprisingly, the effect is worse than actually losing your job, the research suggests. "Based on how participants rated their own physical and mental health, we found that people who were persistently concerned about losing their jobs reported significantly worse overall health in both studies and were more depressed in one of the studies than those who had actually lost and regained their jobs recently," said Sarah Burgard, a sociologist at the University of Michigan. "In fact, chronic job insecurity was a stronger predictor of poor health than either smoking or hypertension in one of the groups we studied," Burgard said. One simple reason: the stress caused by insecurity. Other research has shown that stress can be deadly, leading to a range of poor health conditions that can shorten one's life.

Countless books and Web sites are dedicated to Freemasons, yet the Masonic Order has been defined by mystery, alluring enough to claim Mozart and George Washington as members, dark enough to be feared by the Vatican, Islamic officials, Nazis and Communists. In the United States, candidates in the 19th-century ran for office on anti-Mason platforms and John Quincy Adams declared that "Masonry ought forever to be abolished." And now arrives Dan Brown. Six years after Brown intrigued millions of readers, and infuriated scholars and religious officials, with "The Da Vinci Code," he has set his new novel, "The Lost Symbol," in Washington and probed the fraternal order that well suits his passion for secrets, signs and puzzles.

President Obama delivered his back-to-school pep talk to students here in Utah and across the nation today and encouraged school children to take responsiblity and ownership of their own education. Here is the transcript so you can read it yourself:
"Hello everyone - how's everybody doing today? I'm here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we've got students tuning in from all across America, kindergarten through twelfth grade. I'm glad you all could join us today.
I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school, it's your first day in a new school, so it's understandable if you're a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade you're in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer, and you could've stayed in bed just a little longer this morning......."

The doors opened earlier than planned this morning at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston, and again, the crowds streamed in. By Thursday night, more than 20,000 people had come to pay their last respects to Ted Kennedy, the senator who led a storied 46-year career in Congress. The crowds were so enormous that the Kennedy family decided to keep the library open late into the night, until almost 2 a.m., and they extended viewing hours for today. Some people waited two, sometimes three hours to say a personal goodbye. The library will remain open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, and at 7 p.m., there will be a private memorial service -- a "Celebration of Life" -- at the library. The late senator's widow, Victoria Reggie Kennedy told ABC News "Just our whole family is deeply grateful for this outpouring of love. That is why I wanted to come out here and thank as many people as I could."

As Jaycee Dugard gets to know her family again after 18 years in depraved captivity, new information is raising questions of how her ordeal went undetected for so long, despite at least two visits to the house of horror by law enforcement authorities in recent years. Dugard, who is now 29 and the mother to two children fathered by her abductor, has been reunited with the mother she hasn't seen since she was snatched off a California street at the age of 11. Also at the reunion is her 19-year-old stepsister Shayna, who was 1 when Jaycee disappeared. "As of this moment we are just reuniting and everything is going well," Shayna wrote in response to a question from ABC News on her MySpace page. "Shes only 29. She has the rest of her life to live and I have a lot of love to share with my sister and new nieces. In due time my mom will make statements and so will I if needed, but you have to understand this time is critical and the media attention would just add stress to something so delicate."

"Pay it forward" is a familiar concept. However, Bryan Douglas decided to take the idea to heart like few people do. He actually went looking for people who needed help - on Craiglist of all places. When he found five people who sincerely needed help, he hopped into his car and off he went. He drove over 1,000 miles, to Chicago and back, delivered a car battery, gave a lift to a stranger, dismantled a swing set, cleared out a demolished bathroom and delivered fresh clothing to a local charity that serves the homeless. And when he got back to Pittsburgh, Bryan Douglas, which is not his real name, did what any sensible 21st-century person would do: he told his story on Youtube.

Research by neuroscientists has shown that consumption of fat and sugar combination triggers the brain's dopamine pathway, which is essentially how our brain identifies pleasure. This is the same reason that causes the people to indulge in alcohol and drugs. Former FDA chief, Dr. David Kessler, research suggest a condition called "conditioned hyper-eating" — a willpower-sapping drive to eat high-fat, high-sugar foods even when they're not hungry. He calls the culprits those foods that are "layered and loaded" with combinations of fat, sugar and salt — and often so processed that you don't even have to chew much. Overeaters must take responsibility, and basically retrain their brains to resist the lure, he cautions in his book "The End of Overeating."

LA TOYA JACKSON will serve as a guest host on ABC's The View on September 16th and 18th. One of the hot topics during the initial appearance will no doubt be the death of her brother, MICHAEL, in June. She recently made a public appearance at a function for the charity AIDS Project Los Angeles, saying that her family is still coping with their loss. La Toya will be filling in for View co-host ELISABETH HASSELBECK, who gave birth earlier this month and is on maternity leave until mid-October. A $300 million cash-for-clunkers-type federal program to boost sales of energy-efficient home appliances will roll out later this Fall for washing machines and dishwashers. The program authorizes rebates of $50 to $200 for purchases of high-efficiency household appliances. The money is part of the broader economic stimulus bill passed earlier this year. Program details will vary by state, and the Energy Dept. has set a deadline of Oct. 15 for states to file formal applications. The Energy Dept. expects the bulk of the $300 million to be awarded by the end of November. (Unlike the clunkers auto program, consumers won't have to trade in their old appliances.)

Aleasha Decker, 23, said she was excited and stunned when she read the question, "Aleasha, marry me?" in 20-foot, sheet plastic letters. They sat atop a harvested field in Kalida, about 60 miles southwest of Toledo in northwestern Ohio. New husband-to-be Jason Kahle got some help from his father, who farms the land and flies a small plane. When they took Decker into the air on Aug. 9, they said the purpose was to photograph some relatives' houses. After Decker spotted the message, she turned to find Kahle with a ring. A June 5, 2010, wedding is now in the works.

Follow this checklist of 15 tips and you could add up to 77 years to your life. Sound too good to be true? Not according to new research from Norwich Union. The insurer's actuarists have crunched some numbers that shows simple things like enjoying a good laugh and eating well can give a huge boost to your longevity. The list ranges from the fairly obvious - quit smoking - to the more esoteric. Who would have thought that flossing your teeth could add six years to your life? Here is the list:
1. Be married/live with a partner - add 1 year
Norwich Union data shows people who are married or live with a partner can expect to live on average a year more than their single friends.
2. Maintain a healthy weight - add 6 years
Being severely obese (having a BMI of above 40) could reduce your life expectancy by around four years. A healthy BMI level is between 18.5 and 25, according to the Food Standards Agency. On the other hand, being underweight might reduce your life expectancy by around two years, so maintaining a healthy weight is vital.
3. Don't smoke - add 10 years
People can add as much as 10 years to their lives simply by not smoking. Research carried out at the University of Helsinki has found that people who don't smoke can expect to live up 10 years longer than those who smoke 20 cigarettes a day.
4. Love to laugh - add 8 years
According to scientific studies, people who laugh for 15 minutes each day could add an extra eight years to their lives.

The American Academy of Pediatrics is out with some guidelines that will help us gauge whether our children's backpacks are too heavy to carry to school. Here are their recommendations:
BACKPACK SAFETY

* Choose a backpack with wide, padded shoulder straps and a padded back.
* Pack light. Organize the backpack to use all of its compartments. Pack heavier items closest to the center of the back. The backpack should never weigh more than 10 to 20 percent of the your child's body weight.
* Always use both shoulder straps. Slinging a backpack over one shoulder can strain muscles.
* Consider a rolling backpack. This type of backpack may be a good choice for students who must tote a heavy load. Remember that rolling backpacks still must be carried up stairs, and they may be difficult to roll in snow.

FASHIONABLY COOL 4 SCHOOL
There are 4 key fashion trends for back-to-school to watch for and they are each so different:
1. Bright Idea

3. Classics de-Classified
Varsity style and classic preppie silhouettes from polo shirts and varsity jackets to NCAA sweats and University tees meet contrasting collars, metallic touches, embellishments, unique fabrics and new color combinations for a truly teen spin.
4. Arty Accents and Embellishments
The DIY fashion trend amongst teens these last few years has bred a new crop of designers and artists making everything basic, everything but!
Need another reason not to text on your way home from work? Researchers at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute found texting was a huge (although believable) 23 times more dangerous than non-distracted driving. Texting while driving takes our eyes off the road. In fact, the study showed texting drivers would travel the equivalent of the "length of a football field at 55mph without looking at the road.".....wow.

Have a great time this weekend, but if you're planning on heading out to the water in the family, the Utah Health Department wants to remind you that family gatherings and water danger go hand-in-hand. We just get too busy and distracted and in those few seconds we lose 10 children every year to drowing in Utah. And teens are at risk too, they goof off and underestimate how cold the water is and overestimate they're own swimming abilities. Here's some ideas to keep your family safe:
Water Safety Tips
• Actively supervise children who are playing in or near water.
• Where there's water, designate an adult "child watcher" during parties and family gatherings.
• Warn teenagers of the risks of overestimating how well they swim.
• Everyone should wear a life jacket while on a boat or during water sports. Children should also wear a life jacket when near open bodies of water.

In an effort to bring in additional income while being able to stay home and raise her young family, Quinn took the idea of a one-stop-shop for products created by moms and turned it into a reality. Eat less, live longer? It seems to work for monkeys: A 20-year study found cutting calories by almost a third slowed their aging and fended off deadly diseases like cancer. The researchers at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, assigned half the monkeys to the reduced-calorie diet, cutting their daily calories by 30 percent but ensuring what they did eat was properly nourishing So far, 37 percent of the monkeys who kept their regular diet have died of age-related diseases — compared with just 13 percent of the calorie-cut monkeys, a nearly three-fold difference. The federal government is now curious to see if the cutting back on calories would have the same effect on people. They're funding a small study to see if some healthy normal-weight people could sustain a 25 percent calorie cut for two years and if doing so signals some changes that might, over a long enough time, reduce some age-related disease.

Today hundreds of soldiers from the 96th Sustainment Brigade will fly out of Fort Douglas, head to Texas for training, and then fly on to Iraq to help facilitate the evacuation of U.S. troops in Iraq. For many of these soliders this is their second or third deployment overseas and away from their families here in Utah. Many of us want to thank them and support them. The Army Reserve has a phone number for anyone to call to find out how to help soldiers and their families. Check it out here.

Read the Newsweek's "My Turn" column by BYU Law Professor Michael Goldsmith. In it he writes about his battle with ALS. He also asked Major League Baseball to honor Lou Gehrig and help him raise awareness of ALS on July 4th at Yankee Stadium. His column convinced MLB to do just that. See the story and photos below:

"I am so devastated by this terrible news. From the beginning of my career, he was my idol in show business. He was a genius and an incredible artist!! I remember when I was growing up and watching him on TV, and all his videos... I had his poster on my wall... he was so amazing... his singing, his writing, his dancing. We had the same record company, and they knew I was a huge fan, so when things started to happen for me, they arranged for us to meet. I was so nervous, and so excited at the same time, and Michael was so nice....."

Police have not yet confirmed whether the children were at home with Jackson Thursday when he collapsed following a cardiac arrest. "Michael's mother Katherine wants the kids," said Stacey Brown, co- author of "Michael Jackson Behind the Mask" and an old family friend. "But Michael always said he wants Grace, the nanny, to have them if something happened to him." Grace, is Grace Rwaramba, 42, who has worked for Jackson for nearly two decades, starting as an office assistant who handled insurance for his employees.

In case you were wondering, "Hodge" and "Elwell" are family names on Parker's side. The couple's publicist said yesterday, quote, "The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon." The surrogate mother endured a stressful pregnancy. Parker claimed in an interview last month that the surrogate had received threats. Furthermore, two police chiefs are under investigation for allegedly breaking into the surrogate's home in Martins Ferry, Ohio, hoping to find info to sell to tabloids.
