Sting has reportedly begun seeking investors for a new Broadway musical. Word of the project comes in a report from the New York Post claiming that the "Roxanne" rocker is seeking as much as $15 million to bring the show to life. The musical is reportedly titled The Last Ship and is largely based on his 1991 album The Soul Cages.
Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day was one of many rockers to pay tribute to Ray Manzarek, keyboardist for the Doors, who died on Monday at the age of 74 in Rosenheim, Germany where he was being treated for bile duct cancer. BJ hit Instagram to post a 1960s-era black-and-white photograph of the legendary organist, adding, "#thankyouraymanzarek #thedoors"

The Carrie Underwood tour exhibit has opened at the Country Music Hall of Fame museum. The exhibit, entitled "Carrie Underwood: Blown Away" features items from Underwood's tour, including backstage objects, signs from her fans, and gifts received by Underwood. Other main draws of the exhibit include original tour costumes and stage wardrobe and accessories.
Mariah Carey's reps have denied that she lip-synced songs during a recent appearance on American Idol. The statement comes after many fans on Twitter questioned the performance on Sunday night. "Great job on Idol last night Mariah Carey!! You lip-sync like an angel," one tweeter named Dax Holt wrote.
