Van Morrison and Elvis Costello have been added to the list of headliners for this year's BluesFest. Morrison and Costello join a string of headline acts showcasing their blues roots, including Sheryl Crow and Georgie Fame. Costello noted: "I've waited a long, long time to share a bill with Georgie Fame. There is no better address to do it than Albert's Royal Hall."
Joe Don Rooney, guitarist for Rascal Flatts, has announced that he and his wife Tiffany Fallon are expecting a third child. The pair, speaking with People magazine, dished on the expectation. "We are so thrilled and feel so blessed to bring another little angel into our world," they said.
Stevie Nicks has been confirmed to perform at the upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. Nicks will take part in a musical tribute to inductee Linda Ronstadt along with Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Carrie Underwood and Sheryl Crow. Speaking with Cleveland.com, Ronstadt said she never expected to be inducted into the HOF.
Chris Martin, fronter for Coldplay, will induct Peter Gabriel into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Others confirmed for performances and appearances include Stevie Nicks, who will induct Linda Rodstadt; and Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Carrie Underwood and Sheryl Crow, who wil perform a musical tribute to Rodstadt.
