Sting Plans To Release New Album In September »
The Last Ship, Sting's first full-length album of original material in over ten years, is set for release on September 24. According to the New York Times, the Police bassist wrote the LP while working on a musical. The musical, which may be due for a Broadway debut in 2014, is set in a shipyard near Wallsend, England, where Sting spent his youth.

Paul Gongaware, an executive for AEG, says that Michael Jackson asked for Dr. Conrad Murray to accompany him on his farewell This Is It tour. Jackson's family is suing AEG for negligence in hiring Murray, and, should the jury buy Gongaware's story, it may be less inclined to award them the large settlement they seek.
